Now-Here

Now-Here is the site of the central leadership for the Realms. At its Castle, The Council of Magicians holds court to keep piece in the Realms. At its Arena, the yearly Inter-Realm Games are played. It is an odd land blanketed always in night unique in many ways such that anyplace on any realm is accessible from here and how weak magic is here. The end of the Grief Wars marked the rise of Now-Here and today it is the central locus of all inter-realm activity even if the common citizen believes it to be mere legend!

Glr

Glr is the starting point for Dwarves, and based on Hellenistic Athens, Greece; includes The Academy and The Caves are locations of interest. It is actually a dense, rocky planet with a thin atmosphere and little water. Being a small, dense world, gravity is larger here which makes its inhabitants short and powerful in other Dimensions. Humes and Elves lose Dexterity when here. . It is the fifth planet from the Sun. Glr has two main mountain strongholds each near an ocean (each roughly the size of the Indian Sea). It is the 2nd planet from the sun and prone to erratic solar events.

Glr's Dwarv

The Dwarv is a product of the absolute conditions of their home planet of Glr. Their planet consists of a single belt of habitable land has one small ocean and then the frozen wastelands at the caps. As a result of being so close to the sun and the desolate conditions above, Dwarves never left the cave dwelling culture and instead of going out, retreated in, living in mines and in the dark protection their land affords them. The stubborn dwarv is a resilient member of any team. Their heavy world (consisting of a high gravity, high density small planet) makes them quite strong in any other Realm and thus Dwarves have a reputation for travel (and trouble.)

Ionia

Ionia is the starting point for Elves, and based on pre-renaissance Pisa, Italy; includes The Leaning Tree of Pisa and The Cathedral as locations of interest. Gravity here is lighter than Hum-Normal and thus objects tend to have a tall and lanky appearance. Humes are unaffected on this dimension and Dwarves lose Dexterity but gain Strength here. It is a small, compact planet with a thick atmosphere. It is covered in thick vegetation and its one city is a huge network of civilization along the canopies of the planet. Ionia is the 5nd planet from the sun.

Ionia's Elv

Spry and nimble, The Elv often seem aloof and distance, unconcerned with here and now. That is all too often true for their long lifespan grants them looong attention spans. They are perfectly content to be contemplating a problem they have been thinking for centuries as you are talking about the rushing dragons. Coming from a light dimension and living in the canopy of their planet-wide forest, they are very nimble and agile and excel at matters of hand eye coordination. However, they are not overtly social nor do they travel a lost and thus tend to stay at home and it is rare to see them about in the Four Realms

Mearth

Mearth is the starting point for Humes. Based on Industrial London, England; includes Parliament and local Pubs as locations of interest. Gravity here is Earth normal which increases Dwarven (but decreases Elven) Strength. Mearth has one city and several small towns, has earth-like gravity and vegetation, and is -- predictably -- the 3rd planet form the sun.

Mearth's Hum

The Hum is the shortest lived of all species and thus they must naturally be versatile to compete with the industrious Dwarves and far thinking Elves. Their home world is not as light as the Elves but not as heavy as the Dwarves. You will therefore see lots of Dwarves here but only the few Elves that can tolerate the heavier world. The Hum therefore embodies an average between the two worlds physically. After the Grief Wars, Humes became very agreeable to the other races, making them welcome in any world
